According to the organizers, the Vietnam Association of Financial Executives, Finance and Life e-magazine (FiLi.vn) and Vietstock (Vietstock.vn), the awards were based on a survey of compliance with information disclosure obligations by all 731 companies listed on the HCM City and Hanoi stock exchanges, and 364 of them had complied with all. The dispatch clarified that since September 25, due to the impact from a low depression, many northern and north-central localities have suffered torrential rains which were measured at 500mm in some places, causing floods and landslides , blocking streets and disrupting production and daily activities of locals, especially in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh province. (Photo: VNA) Quang Ngai (VNA) – The central coastal province of Quang Ngai has mobilised its entire political system in the fight against the illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing, and reaped significant results in this regard. As of September 2023, the locality counted 4,292 fishing vessels, of them 3,127 measuring 15 metres and above in length, along with about 38,000 labourers working at sea, according to Director of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Ho Trong Phuong. The provincial People’s Committee established a steering committee on IUU fishing prevention in 2019, and issued a plan on the implementation of relevant tasks and solutions for the 2023-2025 period. Vietnam leaps two places in global innovation index in 2023

According to the report, Vietnam has continued to show progress in converting innovation input into output performance. The country has jumped from 59th position in 2022 to 57th position in 2023 in terms of input level, while its output level was up one place to 40th position. The GII input pillars include institutions, human capital and research, infrastructure, market sophistication, and business sophistication. Vietnam’s Binh Duong launches int’l multimodal freight train to China
The People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province in southern Vietnam and the Vietnam Railways on Wednesday debuted an international multimodal train transporting cargo from Song Than Station to China. The train with 19 carriages carried nearly 500 metric tons of tapioca starch. The train departed from Song Than Station the same day, and is set to arrive in Putian, Zhengzhou in China’s Henan on October 5. Attending the inauguration ceremony, Le Manh Ha, CEO at T&T Trade and Service Company, said that the demand for freight transport to China is high. Firms can now conduct export procedures at Song Than Station, instead of any border station.
