In September, 2019, Wang Qing Lin illegally entered Vietnam to work. One month later, Lin was fined VND4 million (USD173.91) for not completing the necessary entry procedures as required. After returning to China, Wang Qing Lin was told by a man named Xiao Hua to join the online visual stock market. Being promised to receive the monthly payment of CNY5,000, Lin agreed with the deal. On November 9, 2019, Wang Qing Lin illegally entered Vietnam again by road through an unidentified man. After re-entering Vietnam, Wang Qing Lin was taken to the central city of Danang by a Vietnamese person who has not yet been identified. In Danang City, with the support of Nguyen Thi Yen, 26 and Le Thi Toan, 38, Wang Qing Lin stayed in different areas in the city. Cybersecurity to be included in high school curriculum
Hanoi (VNA) – High schools across the nation will begin teaching cybersecurity from the 2021-2022 academic year within the scope of the defence and security course. Under the Ministry of Education and Training’s Circular No.46, students from the 10th grade to the 12th grade will be introduced fundamental notions in this area, including cyberspace and cybersecurity, as well as contents of the cybersecurity law. The course will help raise students’ awareness of cyber attacks, fake news and malware attacks. According to Director of the ministry’s Department of Secondary Education Nguyen Xuan Thanh, the move aims to develop students’ digital capacity in accordance with the UNESCO’s Digital Literacy Global Framework.
