There are currently about 200,000 Vietnamese citizens studying and working in South Korea, including 8,285 people in Daegu city, 18,502 people in Gyeongsangbuk province and 333 people in Cheongdo district, South Korean localities hardest hit by the pandemic. According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, South Korean tourists coming to Vietnam have been booming in recent years. Harder to make a living with sugarcane The harvest of sugarcane in sugarcane growing-areas in Ninh Xuan and Ninh Tay communes in Ninh Hoa Town was quite subdued.
