A fishing boat in Quang Tri Province was attacked by another boat from Quang Nam Province due to trade disputes. A video recording of the attack has been widely spread online. A source told Dantri/Dtinews that the incident occurred near Con Co Island at 5.45 pm on May 26. At that time, boat QT 915.88 operated by Hoang Ngoc An, 50, from Quang Tri Province was attacked by another boat QNa 902.99 owned by a fish trader named Tang in the neighbouring Quang Nam Province. "All six crew members on the Quang Tri boat fell into the sea following the collision caused by the Quang Nam boat. Luckily they were rescued and taken ashore by some nearby boats the same night," the source said. The project is located in Ba Tri district. The construction of the green hydrogen plant is expected to start in late June and start a trial run in the first quarter of 2023. It marks the first green hydrogen project in Vietnam. The plant is expected to generate 24,000 tonnes of green hydrogen initially with an annual capacity of 150,000 tonnes of ammonia and 195,000 tonnes of oxygen. Later, the annual production capacity is expected to be 60,000 tonnes of green hydrogen, 375,000 tonnes of ammonia, and 490,000 tonnes of oxygen, which is more than double the capacity. Qatar Airways chief executive Akbar Al Baker, in a rare public comment on the case, told reporters in Doha: "Every partnership has disputes and I just hope that this dispute could be resolved outside the courts of law." The airline, which is demanding about $1 billion in damages, said in a statement that it was "pleased" that the latest judgement called for an "expedited trial" and more details on the peeling paintwork that it has said is a threat to the A350's lightning … [Read more...] about Qatar Airways, Airbus want billion dollar paintwork battle settled out of court
Trade unions urged to improve quality of workers’ meals at factories
A roundtable on workplace safety and the quality of meals provided to workers was held by the HCM City Federation of Labour on Thursday. VNA/VNS Photo Thanh Vũ HCM CITY — Trade unions at all levels need to take drastic measures to improve workers’ meals at companies by ensuring employers pay at least VNĐ20,000-25,000 (US$0.85-1.07) for them, a roundtable held by the HCM City Federation of Labour heard on Thursday.
