Two Ho Chi Minh City-based companies are involved in a dispute over ownership of a fashion week promotional campaign sponsored by Taiwan-based Sang Yang Motor (SYM) Company. When conducting the project in May, SYM ordered Ha Thanh Cong advertising limited company (HTC) in Ho Chi Minh City to design the Vietnamese fashion show for VND3.3 billion (US$200,000). However, SYM later halted cooperation with HTC, which it said "failed to satisfy sponsor requirements."
