The capital city will give priority to young cadres or female cadres. Hanoi has made a plan to spend nearly VND90 billion (US$3.9 million) to train public servants in developed countries, according to the municipal People’s Committee. The committee said early this week that its overseas training project will focus on refreshing and enhancing professional knowledge and skills for around 500 cadres, civil servants, and public employees from the city’s six departments during the 2022-25 period. In January 2021, US Customs and Border Protection announced a ban on raw fibres, apparel, and textiles made from Xinjiang-grown cotton, which also covers cotton products made in third countries.
