Thai Airways reduced its stake in May and went to the insolvency court to resolve its debt, which totalled 332.2 billion (10.6 billion USD) by the end of June, according to local media. The carrier, which reported a loss of nearly 900 million USD in the first quarter of this year, is seeking a loan worth around 1.78 billion USD in the short term to operate and pay for its employees. Military units respond to storm Mulan
As of 4:30 on August 10, the Vietnam Border Guard Commands of coastal provinces and cities from Quang Ninh to Binh Dinh worked with localities to update owners of more than 52,000 vehicles on the developments of the storm and guide them to get away from the storm. Over 280.000 troops were equipped and more than 2,900 vehicles of different kinds were mobilized to respond to the storm.
