Hanoi reported the highest number of infections on the day with 373 cases, followed by Phu Tho with 102 and Vinh Phuc with 92. The national tally reached 10,706,111. A total 7,151 COVID-19 patients were given the all clear on May 20, bringing the number of recoveries so far to 9,390,032. Revenues were up 55 percent year-on-year to VND11.6 trillion, the highest since 2020, when Covid-19 started to cripple the aviation industry.
