Sao Mai Group has started the construction of Grand Mercure Phu Yen The hotel covers an area of 2.2 hectares at District 7, Tuy Hoa city with the total investment capital of VND397 billion ($17.26 million). Its design took inspiration from Asian architecture. The construction of this 5-star international standard hotel is expected to be completed within 24 months. Le Tan Ho, vice chairman of Phu Yen People’s Committee said that the investors need to co-operate with departments and localities to complete the remaining procedures to implement the construction on schedule. Previously, Phu Yen People’s Committee worked with Sao Mai Group, Accor Hotels, and R&H Group to discuss investment in high-end resort tourism sector in the province. To date, these groups are co-operating with each other to develop three projects, including Sao Mai Hung Dung Phu Yen Hotel, Viet My A&V Hotel and Resort Complex, and a Green Energy Tourism Urbanproject. Sao Mai Group is a multidisciplinary economic group with strong development potential, operating in many fields such as real estate, renewable energy, aquaculture, and the processing of exported seafood, tourism services, as well as human resources training, and labour export to Japan via 16 member companies in charge of business activities. Novak Djokovic will finish his career with more Grand Slams than Roger Federer and battle it out with Rafa Nadal for the record after the Serb won a record-extending ninth Australian Open title on Sunday, his coach Goran Ivanisevic said. Victory over Daniil Medvedev gave world number one Djokovic his 18th major and the 33-year-old champion is now two shy of Federer and Nadal who have won a men’s record 20 each. Djokovic lost the opportunity to close the gap at last year’s U.S. Open after he was disqualified for accidentally hitting a lineswoman with a ball. He then lost a one-sided French Open final to Nadal, but Ivanisevic said he could target Margaret Court’s all-time record of 24 Slams. “I said couple of years ago Rafa and Novak are going to overtake Roger, both of them. I still believe that,” Ivanisevic told reporters. “They surprise me every day. Rafa for sure is going to win one, I hope not two, but I give him one... They’re producing better and better tennis... When you think the young guns are coming, these guys are one step better in the finals. “I don’t know where is the end. Maybe they’re going to overtake Margaret Court and Serena Williams (23 majors), maybe not. But it’s amazing what they’re doing on court, how they perform in big matches.” Federer, 39, has not won a major since winning in Melbourne in 2018 and the Swiss has not played in over a year after requiring surgery on his right knee twice in 2020. “I’m waiting for Roger to come back,” Ivanisevic added. “It’s going to be more interesting to see what’s going to happen at the French Open and Wimbledon.” Ivanisevic said Djokovic’s triumph in Melbourne was also his redemption after the media coverage of his quarantine requests prior to the tournament as well as his injury. “He needed this victory so badly. Ngoc Thao, Vietnam's representative at Miss Grand International 2020, has released outlines of the outfits she will wear during the upcoming national costume segment of the beauty pageant which will take place in Thailand. The two outfits Ngoc Thao will wear have been made by designer Tin Thai. The first is a bodysuit which features an impressive and modern style. The outfit will be meticulously crafted and will have hundreds of pieces of mirror attached to it to create a unique and eye-catching light reflection. The highlight of the outfit are the two sleeves which have been designed to resemble a bonsai tree. The second costume is heavily influence by the royal culture in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue. The gown and headdress are in the style of the Nguyen dynasty. Ngoc Thao is due to fly to Thailand in March where she will compete in the Miss Grand International 2020 pageant.
