The National Archive Center 4, a division of the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam, situated at 2 Yet Kieu Street in Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, has recently opened a digital exhibition center for woodblocks from the Nguyen Dynasty, recognized as World Documentary Heritage. On September 22, the digital exhibition center, displaying digitized documents and records related to the Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks, was inaugurated at the National Archive Center 4, thanks to funding provided by the Vingroup Innovation Foundation. Following the opening ceremony, visitors to the National Archive Center had the unique opportunity to experience hologram technology which allowed them to delve into the stories surrounding the woodblocks of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802–1945). Vietnam’s aquaculture industry has not only served the sizable domestic market with a population of about 100 million but also gradually conquered the world market, said Truong Dinh Hoe, General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP). Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Wednesday morning met with Aurélia Nguyen, a Vietnamese French, chief program strategy officer at Gavi, a global Vaccine Alliance, to award her Vietnam’s Friendship Medal for her valuable contributions to the country during the COVID-19 pandemic. SK Group to pour $500 million into DEEP C Industrial Zones in Haiphong
On September 22, at the recent conference on granting investment registration certificates for projects in industrial areas in Haiphong, Haiphong Economic Zones Management Authority (HEZA) approved the $500 million ECOVANCE high-tech biodegradable materials factory project from SK Group. The project has the goal of producing biodegradable materials PBAT, PBS, and PBATS. The project covers over 32,000 square meters located in DEEP C Haiphong I Industrial Zone (IZ). Phase 1 of the project will start construction in mid-December and complete construction within nine months. It is expected that the project capacity will reach about 35,000 tonnes of products per year. After the expansion in phase two, the project will reach a capacity of 70,000 tonnes per year.
