Hanoi stimulates the consumption of One Commune, One Product (OCOP) products through numerous promotional and networking events. Many trade promotion events for Hanoi's OCOP products associated with the culture of provinces in the Central Highlands and Southern regions will be held until the end of 2023, according to the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Seventeen well-known painters are showcasing their works depicting women reading books at an art exhibition at The Muse Artspace on Trang Tien Street in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The ‘Women Read Books’ exhibition, which opened on Friday last week, is scheduled to last until Monday next week. These painters of several generations come from the southern and northern regions. They include men and women, and even Vietnamese living in Poland. Their paintings glorify women’s reading habits. Speaking at a forum late last week, Nguyễn Văn Đính, chairman of the Việt Nam Real Estate Brokers Association, said the market would continue to struggle with limited access to capital, legal bottlenecks and companies’ inability to redeem bonds. A recent survey by his association found over 70 per cent of businesses saying Government policies aimed at resolving funding difficulties have not been effective, he said. Real estate transactions have plummeted by 90 per cent in 2022-23, indicating weak market demand, he said.
