The former officials recalled the inspiring memories of their youth and their engagement in the HCMYU activities, and gave ideas for the union to further develop and become more effective. The event was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi along with representatives from the RANEPA, Vietnamese associations in Russia and local and international students in Russia. Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Khoi stressed that in his whole life, President Ho Chi Minh paid great attention to young people, who he said are the future of the country, and the major force for national construction and defense.
