Photo credit: Consulate of the Republic of South Africa The Consulate of the Republic of South Africa held a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday to launch its "Nha sach don Tet" (Clean house to welcome the Lunar New Year) program to raise fund for the poor. It is part of a series of community-based programs named "Tet den moi nha" (Tet come to every families), organized by the Consulate and the VASS Assurance Corporation to help poverty-stricken families to ring in Tet, Vietnam’s biggest annual festival. Taking part in the "Nha sach don Tet" program will be some 400 volunteers from 32 universities, colleges, vocational schools and high schools throughout the city, according to the Consulate.
