Nguyen Hai Anh from the Hanoi paragliding club and Le Hoang Bach from Lai Chau paragliding club won second and third places. In the women’s event, Nguyen Thi Da Ni, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh and Cao Thi Thu Thuy from the Hanoi paragliding club topped the podium. The event attracted 100 paragliders from 12 clubs across the country. HÀ NỘI — The classic Vietnamese epic Lục Vân Tiên , which may be read in a variety of languages and dialects throughout the world, has been given new life by international artists. Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, the writer of the epic, was a Vietnamese poet renowned for his nationalist and anti-colonial writings against the French. June 30 would have been his 200th birthday. Lê Quý Dương, the show's general director, gathered numerous worldwide performers to spread the influence and popularity of Lục Vân Tiên , a famous epic by Chiểu. More than 4,000 participants took part in the 2022 Ben Tre Marathon in Ben Tre Province, located in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region, last weekend. The race was one of the activities held to celebrate the 200th birthday of Vietnamese poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu and his UNESCO recognition as a World Cultural Celebrity, as well as part of the provincial traditional cultural festival.
