The kick-off conference on the national action plan for the circular economy and net-zero emissions - from commitment to action At the conference, national and international partners exchanged successful circular economy (CE) models from the region and globally, with the intention of identifying suitable models that can be applied in Vietnam. The forum provided an important opportunity for all parties to exchange ideas and prioritise mechanisms and policies to promote CE models. Vietnam warned of personal digital data management
Privacy policy announcement is the foundation for citizens to protect the right on their data when there are disputes. However, despite the Covid-19 pandemic leading to more use of online service, the number of people using these services is not high enough. Statistics from the survey for Vietnam Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) in the two years of 2020 and 2021 show that only 3.5 percent of the surveyed experienced the national public service e-portal. To be successful in digital transformation, personal data protection according to the UN’s standards is critical, including such features as fair and lawful personal data processing; clarification of personal data collecting and processing; necessary personal data collecting only; safe storage of personal data; transparency and accountability ensuring. Vietnam’s e-government procurement system set to launch in August

The new procurement system is set to operate on August 1.
