At the seminar, jointly held by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), participants discussed needed preparations for the building of nuclear energy facilities as Viet Nam looks to build its first nuclear plant in the future. International experts warned that before Viet Nam can begin the process it would need to promptly issue enough legal documents, including a Law on Nuclear Energy and establish nuclear safety management agencies.
