Vietnam and Bangladesah have ample room for achieving stronger growth in their bilateral trade cooperation, as the two countries share many things in common, including being emerging economies with stable development, having large populations, markets, and sufficient human resources. The signing by Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son made Vietnam one of the first countries to sign the international-legally binding instrument under the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
