Spain has finally accepted Vietnam’s new-style passports after rejection due to their missing place-of-birth information. A new Vietnamese passport The Spanish Embassy in Vietnam on August 8 issued a notice saying that they would officially recognise Vietnam’s new-style passports after finalising mandatory technical consultations with competent central agencies in Spain. "From August 8, the embassy will accept applications for visas from holders of Vietnamese new passports," the embassy said in the notice.
