Local authorities in the northern province of Lang Son have been forced to tighten control over the trading of red-claw crayfish in order to prevent an invasion of the species into the locality. Vietnamese Gov't cracks down on trade and consumption of banned crayfish Red-claw crayfish is not among the list of aquaculture species eligible for trade in Vietnam. Currently, several websites in Lang Son province are offering crayfish for sell, despite the fact that the fish is not among the list of aquaculture species eligible for trade in Vietnam. Crayfish are sold at a price between VND250,000 and VND500,000 per kilo depending on their size. The import of the product from China has recently captured great attention from local residents. Cyclos to be banned in Hanoi
Three-wheeled vehicles may soon be banned in Hà Nội. The Hanoi People’s Committee announced in a recent statement that the new rule would increase road safety and support efforts to improve air quality in the capital. Cyclos seen in the Old Quarters. Logo competition kicks off ahead of 45th anniversary of New Zealand-Vietnam ties
The New Zealand Embassy in Vietnam on Thursday launched a competition for creative logo designs that capture the strong bilateral relationship between the two countries in honor of the upcoming 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2020. The winning logo will feature innovative and modern design styles with clear shapes and colors, the embassy said at a ceremony held to launch the competition at the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts.
