The event displays more than 100 documents, photos and items that are kept at the National Archives Center No 1, History Museum of HCMC, including 50 documents in Han (Chinese script) and Nom (Vietnamese ideographic script) of the collection of 34,555 plates of woodblock of the Nguyen Dynasty which were recognized as a World Documentary Heritage by UNESCO in 2009. The organizers expect to provide knowledge and the aesthetics of costumes and clothing items of the Nguyen Dynasty to viewers. Vietnam to issue ID cards for non-Vietnamese nationals
Foreign nationals living in Vietnam will be granted an electronic identification account to perform public administrative procedures. The Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security (MPS) is considering issuing identification (ID) cards for long-term foreign residents. Accordingly, people of Vietnamese origin who were born in Vietnam or abroad but have returned to Vietnam and lived permanently for more than five years will be eligible to receive ID cards. Currently, citizens in Vietnam have to carry too many paper documents such as citizen identification card, health insurance card, social insurance book, birth certificate, driver's license, student identification card, social insurance card, among others. National women’s football team leaves for training in France

Head coach Mai Duc Chung said he is satisfied with the training results of the whole team so far. A total of 25 players are heading for the training in France and the AFF tournament. COVID-19: 557 cases added to national caseload on June 26
Vaccination against COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City (Photo: VNA) Hanoi, (VNA) – A total 557 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the past 24 hours from 4pm June 25 to 4pm June 26, according to the Ministry of Health. Hanoi still reported the highest number of infections on the day with 177 cases, followed by Ho Chi Minh City with 32 and Bac Ninh with 32. The national caseload reached 10,743,448. A total 7,300 COVID-19 patients were given the all clear on June 26, bringing the number of recoveries so far to 9,649,814. There are 27 patients in serious conditions needing breathing support. No death from COVID-19 was recorded in the past 24 hours. The total fatalities stood at 43,084.
