(VOVworld) - About 100 delegates from the US, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia gathered in Quang Ninh to discuss Buddhism's role in Asia and Vietnam's efforts to promote its national culture. In recent years, several Asian countries including Vietnam have seen the rapid modernization of Buddhism, bringing new vitality to the religion and integrating it better into society. The Vietnamese Prime Minister has decreed April 19 th as Vietnam Ethnic Nationalities Cultural Day. This year, under the topic Dien Hong Culture - Vietnamese Values, Convergence, Crystallization and Future, the festival took place in Dong Mo (Son Tay District, Hanoi) and became a political and cultural event of significance that reproduced a vivid picture of Vietnamese culture. Honoring national culture on first water stage Temple of Queen Le Ngoc Han starts construction Three UNESCO recognized intangible world heritages, Hue nha nhac (royal music) quan ho (love duet) Bac Ninh and ca tru (ceremonial song), as well as national arts cheo (traditional opera), ngam tho (chanting poem) and dan ca (folk music), will gather in an artistic program called Breath of Water performed on the country's first water stage, reports the Vietnam News Agency. The stage will cover 1,500 square meters and be set three centimeters underwater at Tinh Tam Lake in the complex of Hue Imperial Inner City. The stage is scheduled to commence construction in May and be completed in June.
