Head coach Mai Duc Chung said he is satisfied with the training results of the whole team so far. A total of 25 players are heading for the training in France and the AFF tournament. The group is scheduled to move to the Philippines on July 2. The championship will run from July 4-17, with the participation of a record 11 teams. Two new species of wolf snakes found in Vietnam
Scientists of the Vietnam National Museum of Nature, University of Michigan, La Sierra University, and San Diego Natural History Museum recently discovered two new species of snakes that are endemic to the south of the Truong Son range in central Vietnam. Recent field work in the endangered habitats of the Giang River Valley in the south-central Vietnamese province of Khanh Hoa resulted in the discovery of two new species of wolf snakes, Lycodon anakradaya and Lycodon truongi, according to Nguyen Anh The, founder of the Vietnambirds website and a member of the research group. The Giang River and its waterway habitat course through a forested river valley formed by east-west trending mountains in the north-western portion of Khanh Hoa Province in the vicinity of the Giang River Hydropower Station. If he passes it, his contract with the club will take effect and Hai will become the first Vietnamese player to play for a professional league in France. Established in 1920, Pau FC finished 10th in Ligue 2 in the last season. It owns the 4,031-seater Nouste Campo stadium. Bernard Laporte-Fray, president of the club, chose Hai because of his creative and clever style, the newspaper said. He decided to sign a two-year contract with the Vietnamese midfielder with an option of extending for another year.
