The rise is the first part of SHB's plan to reach VNĐ36,459 billion in capital in 2022 to position itself among the three private commercial banks with the largest charter capital. SHB said it had submitted the plan, passed by its shareholder general meeting, to SBV for approval. Under the plan, SHB was also set to pay a dividend yield of 15 per cent to its existing shareholders for the financial year 2021 and offer a total of 45.12 million new shares for VNĐ12,500 apiece to its employees and the shareholders. The Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap is encouraging farmers to grow more fruits meeting good agricultural practice standards to improve incomes and sustainability. Mango and longan account for the lion’s share of these fruits. The mangoes are exported to many markets, including the Republic of Korea, Japan, Russia, Italy, and Hong Kong. The province, the delta’s largest mango producer, has more than 9,000ha under the fruit, while mango is one of its key agricultural products. Authorities in Lai Chau and Son La Provinces, northern Vietnam are seeking the prime minister's approval for the construction of airports there. In a document sent to PM Pham Minh Chinh, the Lai Chau People’s Committee mentioned its plan to build Lai Chau Airport, which is designed to cover 167 hectares and have the capacity of 500,000 passengers per year, in Tan Uyen Town during the 2022-30 period. The administration stressed that the project plays an important role in promoting the province's socio-economic development as well as contributes to ensuring national defense and security in border areas. The province has carried out necessary land use planning and site clearance to attract the interest of investors in the project.
