The Viet Nam Sports Administration under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Sunday organised the programme to honour athletes and coaches who have made contributions to the country's sports in 2022 with the support of SABECO and the leading brand Bia Saigon. Accordingly, SABECO awarded VND230 million (US$9,756) to 23 athletes last year in many fields such as athletics, swimming, football, cycling, weightlifting, and wushu. Japanese artist to hold charity concert for children with cancer
Usuda Reiko, the owner of the café, said the concert would feature singing and piano over two hours. The café can host a maximum of 30 people. Borujeson, an artist of international acclaim, has been performing worldwide since the eighties. She lives in Japan, the U.S. and Sweden, and continues to tour worldwide. A jazz artist with classical roots, she has rendered a distinctive sound of innovation, contradiction, and academic precision that uniquely harmonises with the touch of her fingers. She also teaches in China, Latvia and other countries, and the Keiko Foundation assists young musicians in Latvia and Slovenia. Giac Mo Trinh (Trinh’s Dream), is organized by artists and founders of the Trinh Ca Club founded 15 years ago as a rendezvous for audiences and singers who love music composed by Trinh Cong Son. Located in Cau Giay district, Trinh Ca Club hosts music shows featuring Trinh and other outstanding composers of Vietnamese love and romantic music. Weekly, the live shows are also live streamed on its Fanpage to serve audiences abroad. With its activities, Trinh Ca plays an important role in the development of Vietnamese contemporary music. The highlight is an experimental play on money and love adapted from Honoré de Balzac’s novel Eugénie Grandet. The Vietnamese play adapted from Eugénie Grandet was written by female director Viet Linh, who is talented and well-known in both theatre and movies. Linh worked with her younger colleague, theatre director Tay Phong on the play script. The event taking place on March 14 at the Municipal Theater of Fontainebleau attracted crowds of people in the city and neighboring areas. Famous composer Rachmaninov’s works to be performed in HCM City

The guest artist this time is pianist Nguyen Viet Trung who will return from Poland. Trung and the city’s orchestra will perform under the baton of Meritorious Artist Tran Vuong Thach.
