The new office is located at the Saigon Giai Phong Tower at 432-438 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street in the city’s District 3. Yuki Inoue, general director of Eisai Vietnam, said the company aimed to improve the distribution system, introduce innovative drugs, and contribute to improving benefits for patients based on its human health care or “hhc” philosophy. Hoa Phat Group listed in Forbes’ Top 2,000 largest firms in the world

Photo courtesy of the firm Hoa Phat Group had the highest revenue and profit among five Vietnamese firms listed in the Top 2,000 largest companies in the world in 2022 (Global 2000) announced by Forbes. It is also the only Vietnamese production firm in the list. Forbes collected the latest financial data as of April 22, 2022 to rank businesses globally according to four criteria including revenue, net profit, total assets and market capitalisation. The other Vietnamese firms included in the list are all banks: Vietcombank, Vietinbank, BIDV and Techcombank. In 2021, Hoa Phat recorded VND150.8 trillion (US$6.5 billion) in revenue and reached a net profit of VND34.5 trillion for the first time, up 65 per cent and 156 per cent respectively compared to 2020. Ha repeatedly went behind the Singaporean rival but managed to bounce back to claim a 15-11 win at the end. It is the first time she has topped an individual event at SEA Games. She said she was very happy and wanted to dedicate the gold medal to her coaches and teammates as well as the Vietnamese fans. She has just been back for training after a eight-month maternity leave. With 9.71 points, Giang brought home the gold medal in the women’s Changquan category. Her teammate, Duong Thuy Vi also bagged a bronze medal in the event. In the women's taijijian event, Tran Thi Minh Huyen secured a silver and Tran Thi Kieu Trang pocketed a bronze for Vietnam. The gold medal came to Wong Agatha Chrystenz of the Philippines. (Photo: VNA) Quang Ninh – Athlete Pham Tien San won the first gold medal in Duathlon for Vietnam at the 31st SEA Games on May 15 on Tuan Chau beach in the northern province of Quang Ninh. San finished first in the competition with a time of 1:55:58. Ferbriade Rudi and Johan Jauhari, both of Indonesia, secured the silver and bronze medals a time of 1:56:12 and 1:57: 36, respectively. 31-year-old San had won three silver medals at SEA Games held in 2013, 2015 and 2017. Thirteen male athletes from seven regional countries took part in the event. The Duathlon event at SEA Games 31 has two sets of medals for men's and women's individual events. SEA Games 31: Vietnam advances to semifinals after victory over Timor Leste

(Photo: VNA) Phu Tho - Vietnam’s U23 football team secured a berth in the semifinals of SEA Games 31 after winning 2-0 against Timor Leste in its final Group A match at Phu Tho’s Viet Tri Stadium on May 15. In this game, coach Park Hang-seo gave the chance for many young players, such as centre defender Duy Cuong, midfielders Trong Long and Cong Den, and strickers Thanh Minh and Van Tung while most of the key players were put on the bench. Despite dominating the game, Vietnam struggled to score in the first half, which saw them draw 0-0 with Timo Leste. In the second half, Le Van Xuan crossed a ball to Van Tung, who opened a goal for Vietnam in the 52th minute.
