Each month, Nam pays VND3 million ($125) per person excluding taxes and fees for his work location in District 4. The rate was reduced by 25 per cent two years ago. “With the same space, it cost $333 per person in District 1, and I could not afford it. Everyone is cutting costs as it is such a difficult time,” Nam said. In addition to reducing rates, Nam said her landlord was improving facilities and service incentives, so that tenants could extend their contract for a longer term. E.C. Commissioner for the Environment, Oceans and Fisheries Virginijus Sinkevičius made the remarks at a meeting with Vietnamese Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan in Brussels on September 18. The E.C. representative also said the E.C. wants to assist the Southeast Asian nation in becoming a model of sustainable fisheries development and anti-illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing in the world. Because of that, Thuy disagreed with An’s request to claim the assets back. Thuy also said she registered various properties in the list of assets in dispute under the name of her mother, Truong Thi Be. She said she asked Be to help her sell those properties after she and An divorced in 2008, and admitted that Be transferred the money made from selling those properties to her. Legendary music group Westlife to wow Vietnamese audiences in November
According to the group's official fanpage, tickets for this concert will be on sale from September 26. The music night will take place at Thong Nhat Stadium - with a capacity of about 15,000 spectators. The four members - Mark, Kian, Shane and Nicky - are expected to perform hits such as Uptown Girl, Seasons in the Sun, Flying Without Wings, No One's Gonna Sleep Tonight and many other famous songs. Westlife's The Wild Dreams Tour kicked off in 2020, but had to be postponed for two years due to the epidemic, and some members had health problems. Vietnam district returns ambulance ship to AusCham after leaving it idle for over 1 year
Phung Hiep District in the southern province of Hau Giang has returned an ambulance boat to the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham) after over a year of sitting idle as there was no captain, a local official said. Dong Hoang Tho, director of the Medical Center in Phung Hiep District, said on Tuesday that it returned the boat following the request of the Phung Hiep People’s Committee although it was about to appoint someone to learn how to control the boat. Tran Khong Dan, vice-chairman of the Phung Hiep People’s Committee, said the provincial administration required the return of the ambulance boat. Phung Hiep District suggested transferring the ambulance boat to another district in Hau Giang Province but AusCham said it would give the boat to another province which can use the vessel more effectively, Dan added. Irish boy band Westlife thrilled Vietnamese audiences on Tuesday night by revealing their plan to come back to Vietnam for a live concert scheduled for November 22. The band wrote on their Facebook account that “Vietnam! We are so excited to be coming back with the Wild Dreams tour on 22nd November 2023.” Their live concert will take place at Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, according to their Facebook post.
