H1N1 influenza A infections detected in HCM City school
Many students at a school in HCM City have been infected with the H1N1 influenza A according to the HCM City Centre for Disease Control (HCDC). Many students at Vo Truong Toan Primary School in District 10 are infected with the H1N1 influenza A A report from the centre said that some 20 students at Vo Truong Toan Primary School in District 10 showed flu symptoms such as high temperatures, coughing, sore throat, fatigue and vomiting on March 15 and 16. Some pupils even had a high temperature of more than 39 degrees Celsius. HCDC randomly took blood samples of six sick students and the test results all came back positive for H1N1 influenza A. Ho Chi Minh City detects cluster of 20 H1N1 cases
The Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control (HCDC) announced on Wednesday that the city had just discovered a cluster of H1N1 cases in District 10, leading 20 students at an elementary school to take unscheduled sick leave. A report from the Medical Center of District 10 to the HCDC on March 16 showed an abnormal increase in the number of students taking sick leave at Vo Truong Toan Elementary School on the same day and the day before. A total of 20 students of the school became ill with symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, and vomiting during the two days. Some students had a fever of up to 39 degrees Celsius. Spokesperson for FTI’s automotive industry division Surapong Paisitpattanapong said export climbed 11.42% in February from a year earlier, after January’s 24.28% rise. Domestic sales, however, dropped 3.94% in February from a year earlier, after January’s 5.58% fall, due to an unexpected sharp decrease in truck sales, he said. Jakarta (VNA) – The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) has called for the adoption of the ASEAN Quick Response (QR) Code by all ASEAN countries at the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (BAC) meeting. The transactions carried out via ASEAN QR Code will use local currencies, KADIN Chaiman Arsjad Rasjid said after chairing the ASEAN-BAC meeting in Magelang district, Central Java of Indonesia, on March 22.
