(Photo: VNA) Vinh Phuc (VNA) – National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on February 3 attended a ceremony in Vinh Yen city to celebrate the 93rd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - 2023) and 60 years since President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to the northern province of Vinh Phuc (March 2, 1963). Military-civilian ties boosted in Coi Da village
According to local people, since troops of Regiment 996 of the Quang Binh provincial Military Command implemented mobilization work, the commune has been changed positively. Head of Coi Da village Ho Van Vua held that in the past, the village was divided by a stream so local people had to wade through the water or travel quite a long distance to pass the stream. However, the troops helped locals build a concrete road so that the local people were able to go around the village. Coi Da is a village in Ngan Thuy commune with hard living and road conditions, and poor economic development. There are a lot of Pa Co and Van Kieu ethnic people living here, and they are facing difficulties in their daily life. Annual anniversary honors Hoi An’s Kim Bong carpentry
Kim Bong’s traditional crafts were recreated including weaving sedge mats, making household items from bamboo, and carving wood. Many folk games were also introduced, reported Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV). “This year’s celebration creates the foundation for us to hold more interesting and larger events. It helps raise public awareness of restoring the Kim Bong carpentry space methodically and sustainably,” said Nguyen Van Lanh, Vice Chairman of the Hoi An People's Committee. Established in the 15th century, Kim Bong Carpentry Village is famous for building most of the wooden structures of ancient Hoi An. Kim Bong carpenters were summoned to build the Imperial City of Hue. Volatile real estate market puts pressure on business results

(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - A volatile real estate market caused revenues and profits of realty businesses to decrease sharply in the fourth quarter of 2022. Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company (PDR) reported net revenue of 14.6 billion VND (622,600 USD) in the last three months of 2022, a sharp decrease compared to the 1.29 trillion VND recorded in the fourth quarter of 2021. The company suffered an after-tax loss of 229.4 billion VND in Q4 of 2022, while in the same period in 2021, it reported a net profit of 751.4 billion VND. This was considered Phat Dat's "failure" quarter as the company reported a loss for the first time since it announced business results. Dat Xanh Group Joint Stock Company (DXG) reported a loss of 460 billion VND in the last quarter of 2022.
