BTO - Summer is an important season for tourism industry to attract visitors. This time, many resorts have started their own programmes to impress tourists. In March, although the economy is volatile, tourist volume to Phan Thiet city has been high, about 240,000 arrivals, including 39,000 foreign tourists, an increase of 16.3% over the same period in 2010. The estimated revenue is about VND 304,332 billion, an increase of 63.82% over the same period. There have been 2 more tourism projects approved, an accumulation of 409 projects in effect which have been allocated 3,129.5 hectares of land and the total registered capital of VND 26,129.7 billion.
