Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday met with U.S. President Joe Biden and his counterparts from other countries at an expanded summit of the Group of Seven (G7) countries in Japan. Japanese police on Friday detained a suspect who had been holed up in a building after allegedly killing four people including two police officers in a gun and knife attack, an official told AFP. Police officers stand guard near the scene of a standoff where a suspect, believed to be a farmer in his 30s, was holed up inside a building in the Ebe area of Nakano, Nagano Prefecture, late on May 25, 2023.
