In the first half of the year, the Thanh Hoa provincial Military Command’s Party Committee has directed its troops to promptly perform its assigned tasks, actively made recommendations to the local authorities to implement military and defense tasks as well as ensuring combat readiness, logistics and technical services, among others. The conference also discussed and pointed out shortcomings and limitations, and mapped out solutions to fulfill assigned tasks in the second half of the year. During the test, participating troops used the brigade’s allotted weapons to shoot down floating targets in both day and night time. Under the command of commanding officers, participating troops confidently shot down targets in the first round while ensuring absolute safety of personnel, weapons and equipment. The test was held to evaluate Brigade 955’s quality of training troops, the coordination among participating forces, and abilities of commanding officers at all levels. Undertaking the U.N. missions far away from the Fatherland, the Engineering Company Rotation 1 has made thorough preparation for their tasks, including equipment, vehicles and other necessities. Right after all members of the Engineering Company Rotation 1 safely arrived at the UNISFA, shipments of their equipment were also delivered to Abyei. Accordingly, the troops received and brought necessities to their barracks while trucks and other vehicles were moved to the airfield of the UNISFA headquarters for checks by the mission’s relevant agencies.
