The Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the establishment of the School of Materials and School of Chemistry and Life Sciences on Wednesday as part of its expansion plan. Hanoi University of Science and Technology establishes two more schools. With the two new additions, the university currently has five member schools. Dr Huynh Trung Hai, Rector of the School of Materials, said it would focus on training materials engineering and technology courses that serve industries such as metals and alloys, textiles, footwear, plastics, rubber, composites, electronics and semiconductor materials, printing and communication.
