Participants at the event (Source: Vietnam Mission to ASEAN) Jakarta (VNA) - Ambassador Nguyen Hai Bang , Permanent Representative of Vietnam to ASEAN , has co-chaired the 9th meeting of ASEAN-Korea Joint Cooperation Committee (AKJCC) with the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Ambassador to ASEAN Kwon Hee-seog. During the meeting on May 24, the two sides noted the progress made in the ASEAN-RoK cooperation over the past year, including following up on the outcomes of the 22nd ASEAN-RoK Summit in October 2021 and activities to implement various areas of cooperation under the ASEAN-RoK Plan of Action (2021-2025). To promote the management of real estate transfer activities, the Ministry of Finance has sent an official dispatch to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, to co-ordinate and implement solutions to prevent losses. — VNA/VNS Photo Thanh Dat Organisations and individuals buying, selling and transferring real estate under two separate prices, meaning that the actual purchase price is lower than that on the notarised contract, is increasingly common and has caused great losses of revenue to the State budget. The tax industry has implemented many solutions, recommending that taxpayers need to be honest in declaring actual prices to protect their own interests. During the talk, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and E.U. High Representative Josep Borrell agreed to push up the bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and the E.U. on par with their potential and better meet the joint interests of both sides.
