Canadian author Alice Ann Munro has won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Life of Pi visual art contest kicks off Huy Nguyen By Huy Nguyen in HCMC The embassy of Canada in Vietnam and Nha Nam Publishing & Communications Joint Stock Company have launched a visual arts contest based on the Life of Pi novel by Canadian Yann Martel. The event to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Canada and World Book Day (April 23) is open to people aged between 15 and 25 who have read the book or watched the Life of Pi movie. Contestants can send entries in the form of paintings, graphic designs, photos or videos to organizers by May 30.
