The decision to this effect aims to simplify procedures and reduce costs and time for users, according to the ministry. The legal document, which started to take effect on March 22, stipulates that owners of brand-new vehicles can submit dossiers at registration agencies to receive stamps without having to bring in their vehicles. It also extends the interval between the two checks from 30 months to 36 months for those that have up to nine seats and not engaged in transport service. The move comes amid concerns that this measure might undermine the competitive advantage of developing countries in attracting foreign investment through offering tax incentives. The global minimum tax was Pillar Two of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation Development ( OECD )’s base erosion and profit-shifting (BEPS) framework. JICA supports the upgrade of Vietnam’s equity market
This was one of the events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations and 30th anniversary of Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) to Vietnam. Nearly 150 participants from related ministries and agencies, as well as Vietnamese and Japanese companies attended the seminar. Vietnamese female boxer through to world championship’s quarterfinals
Vietnamese boxer Nguyen Thi Tam beat Botswana athlete Modukanele Lethabo Bokamoso in the Round of 16 of the 2023 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championship in India on Tuesday to advance to the quarterfinals. With a height advantage, Tam showed a preemptive strategy. She scored an almost absolute point in each of the first two rounds of Tuesday’s showdown. In the third round, Lethabo Bokamoso appeared to be physically weaker and even kissed the canvas once. In the end, Tam won 5-0, including four rounds with absolute points of 30. Her opponent in the quarterfinals is Spain’s Fuertes Fernandez Laura, who ranked ninth in Europe in 2022. The fight will take place at 7:30 pm on Wednesday (Vietnam time). Finland aims to attract high-quality human resources from Vietnam
Vietnam is one of the four countries from which Finland is aiming to attract high-skilled personnel through a talent-seeking program that has been introduced in Ho Chi Minh City. The Commercial Section of the Finnish Embassy in Vietnam held a conference on Tuesday in Ho Chi Minh City to debut the Talent Boost program, which helps seek high-quality human resources from Vietnam, as well as from Brazil, Turkey, and India. The program was presented by a Finnish delegation involved in education and work, including Laura Lindeman, senior director and head of work in the Finland Unit at Business Finland, a government organization for innovation funding and trade, travel and investment promotion.
