The Council of Rectors in universities in HCMC was approved including Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai who was voted to be Chairman while Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Duong Anh Duc was voted to be permanent Vice Chairman of the Council. Other vice chairmen of the Council include Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training Nguyen Van Hieu and Secretary of the Party Committee of HCMC Universities and Colleges Nguyen Thi Minh Hong. Le Hoang Phong and Tran Thuy Vi gained 20.4 points to win gold, while Cambodia’s Sokhor Has and Sreypov Mo bagged silver for their 19.3 points, and Thailand’s Chawisa Intakul and Phatcharapong Photjanakosri took bronze with 19.1 points. Scoring 20.733 points in the group event, Nguyen Che Thanh, Le Hoang Phong, Tran Ngoc Thuy Vi, Vuong Hoai An, Nguyen Viet Anh dominated the event to win gold. It’s the second gold for Vi, who won one in a team event on May 21. Cambodian Sreypov Mo, Tola Nget, Chanbory Choeun, Sokhor Has and Bunthoeun Trorn bagged silver after a 19.144-point showing. Vietnam unveils national costume for Miss International Queen 2022
Vietnamese representative Phung Truong Tran Dai officially unveiled an outfit that she will wear during the National Costume Competition at the Miss International Queen 2022 pageant set to take place in June in Thailand. The outfit has been designed by Nguyen Minh Triet and draws inspiration from the motifs of rice, storks, cranes, sun, and Ao Dai, the nation’s traditional long dress Most notably, the highlight of the design is the headdress which takes its inspiration from the sun. The costume is primarily comprised of silk and aims to honour the beauty of Vietnamese women. This marks the third time that the nation has sent contestants to the transgender pageant, one of the world's leading beauty pageant for transgender women. Hanoi installs noise barrier system for the 3rd ring road
Noise-proof panels are being urgently installed at the 3rd ring road, in Mai Dich-Nam Thang Long section. According to the Tokyu-Taisei contractor, about 4,500 aluminum-clad polycarbonate sheets will be installed on a total length of 5.3 km by the end of December. At the construction site, dozens of workers are rushing to complete the work on schedule. Before this installation, the Ministry of Transport assigned the Institute of Transport to test and monitor noise in this area of the road. All must be based on scientific data and then the authority would come to a decision to install noise barriers or not. Indonesian Janis Rosalita Suprianto won gold and set a record in the women's 50m surface at 18.24sec.
