Tourism authorities in Thua Thien-Hue Province, central Vietnam on Sunday installed 138 signboards of 'WC Free Use For Tourist' at local businesses and households offering free bathrooms to travelers. The initiative was launched by the Hue City Party Committee to establish a system of free restrooms for travelers in an effort to develop and promote the provincial capital Hue's tourism image as a warm, secure, modern, and culturally-rich destination. Phan Thien Dinh, secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, used his own Facebook profile to encourage his friends and local residents to support the campaign. Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park J.V. Co. (VSIP) on Saturday signed memoranda of understanding (MOU) with nine Vietnamese provinces to develop smart and sustainable industrial parks (IPs).
