(CPV) - According to a new instruction issued by the Party Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Education, the popularization of great festivals of the nation in 2013 will be associated with the propaganda of the implementation of Party resolutions. The Party Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Education asked relevant agencies to promote patriotism, the tradition of the history of our Party and nation, uphold revolutionary heroism, contribute to consolidating and strengthening the belief in the leadership of the Party and the State management, speeding up the national industrialization and modernization and international integration. Economic growth was a major topic of the 12th conference of the ninth Congress of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, which closed Wednesday after 10 days' sitting. The conference agreed to speed up the renewal process to bring the nation out of underdevelopment status as soon as possible, according to a communiqué released at the end of the conference. Sixty-five Party members from central government offices visited the Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelago between April 19-29. Led by Nguyen Hai Duong, deputy secretary of the Central Government Offices’ Party Unit, the delegates met with leaders of Truong Sa District, visited the islands of Truong Sa Lon, Phan Vinh, An Bang, Toc Tan, Da Tay, Da Lat, Thuyen Chai and Nui Le and gifted books, vegetable seeds and VND965 million to residents and soldiers on the islands.
