Foreign investors wanting to set up a business or expand operations in Vietnam will be able to access the necessary information through a new website detailing investment procedures. The site, http://vietnam.e-regulations.org, launched on Tuesday, is in both English and Vietnamese and was made available by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, with technical assistance from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). MoET, British Council launch website for teachers By Tuong Vi in HCMC The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) in cooperation with the UK’s international educational organization British Council has launched a website with resources for local high school teachers. The website www.teachingenglish.edu.vn links to a large selection of reference resources and English textbooks approved by MoET for grades 10, 11 and 12. “The site is a very useful source of materials for both teachers and learners of English in Vietnam… implementing the strategy ‘Foreign languages teaching and learning in the national education system – period 2008-2020,’” Nguyen Vinh Hien, vice minister of MoET, said at the launch in HCMC last week. Man accused of launching website to extort company
VietNamNet Bridge - Ha Noi Police are investigating an individual who allegedly created a website to slander a company and its director in order to make a profit. Lieutenant colonel Ngo Minh An, head of the city's investigation team for high-tech crimes, announced last Thursday that the investigation began as soon as Hapulico Real Estate Investment Company reported seeing false information posted about the said company at hapulicocomplex.com last Monday. Yxine Film Festival’s jury announced
The third annual Vietnamese online short film festival YxineFF 2012, themed “Individual”, has announced its jury board. Actress Do Hai Yen will be a judge of this year's YxineFF The judges include director Phan Dang Di, actress Do Hai Yen, film producer Tran Thi Bich Ngoc, cameraman Nguyen K’Linh, and translator Cao Viet Dung. “YxineFF has been a good opportunity for local future filmmakers who always need straight and honest conversations with themselves, with their colleagues, and with audiences before deciding to pursue their dream on the filmmaking road, which is more rough than smooth,” director Phan Dang Di said.
