Event Technology Exhibition 2023 (ETE) showcases the latest technologies and equipments of various kinds. It will be held on October 14 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the GEM Center at 8 Nguyen Binh Khiem, District 1. HCMC is one of the cities with the highest event organization rate in the country. Thousands of successful programs are held each year at GEM Center. JAKARTA/HANOI -- Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) discussions on the early retirement of coal-fired power plants in Indonesia may have hit a snag as a local official said on Monday that western countries are not ready to finance such projects. JETP, a financing scheme made up of equity investments, grants and concessionary loans from members of Group of Seven (G7), multilateral banks and private lenders, is aimed at helping developing nations accelerate their shift towards cleaner energy sources in the power sector and cut reliance on dirty fuel such as coal. South Africa was the first country to reach a deal under the JETP, securing a $8.5 billion financing pledge in 2021. Vietnamese firms are being urged to boost sustainable livestock practices, ensure animal welfare, and improve the value of products as Vietnam’s livestock industry is facing multiple challenges, especially after the country started to speed up its international integration, Duong Tat Thang, head of the Department of Livestock Production, said at a press briefing in Hanoi on Tuesday. Livestock is one of the main drivers of Vietnam’s agriculture industry, Thang told the press conference to introduce the Vietstock Expo and Forum 2023, an event for enterprises active in the livestock and seafood processing industries.
