Lotte Hotel in Hanoi was voted the best hotel in Vietnam, according to the annual 2022 ranking compiled by the U.S. online booking site Tripadvisor, based on millions of reviews and opinions collected. Situated on the upper part of a 65-floor building in the downtown area near Hanoi's iconic tourist destinations, the hotel has 235 standard rooms and 83 suites with each offering a panoramic view of the capital. It also has a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, basketball court, kids play center, and 24-hour gym service. The lowest price for a night's stay is VND2.23 million ($96.45). As many as 7,223 COVID-19 patients were given the all-clear on Thursday, bringing the number of recoveries so far to 9,422,085. The number of recoveries was nearly six times higher than the new infections. The new infections were reported in 47 out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide with Hà Nội continuing to register the highest number of daily infections with 309 cases. An additional 1,275 new Covid-19 infections were confirmed on Thursday, raising the national tally to over 10.71 million, according to the Ministry of Health. According to the ministry's report, most of the new patients are locally-transmitted cases confirmed in 33 out of 63 localities in the country with some localities seeing the highest numbers including Hanoi (309), Vinh Phuc (92), Nghe An (83), Phu Tho (80), and Danang (61). As of Thursday evening, the number of Covid-19 patients in Vietnam has increased to over 10.71 million.
