Carrying 400 passengers together, the flights using Airbus A321 aircraft landed in Da Lat’s Lien Khuong Airport and the Cam Ranh International Airport. The new links have pushed the number of routes operated by the carrier between Hanoi and other localities to five, offering more flight options for passengers. Earlier, the airline  had already run flights to Da Nang, Phu Quoc and Quy Nhon. The construction ministry has raised two reasons for the non-disbursement of the credit package of VND120 trillion (US$5.14 billion) launched by the government about two months ago for developing projects to build social houses and houses for workers, and upgrade deteriorated apartment buildings. In a recent report to the Prime Minister in relation to the credit package, the ministry said around 100 projects for building social houses and houses for workers have been licensed for construction but local authorities have yet to publicly announce lists of specific projects. Therefore, banks related to this package have not been able to provide loans sourced from this package to investors and buyers in such projects, the ministry said. The second reason that blocked the disbursement of the package is that most of these projects have yet to be ready for implementation as they remain in the completion stage for investment procedures. Vietravel Airlines have opened its two first flights linking Hanoi and the cities of Da Lat in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong and the southern central province of Khanh Hoa’s Cam Ranh City. The flight to Da Lat landed at Lien Khuong Airport at 8:10 am. While the flight to Cam Ranh International Airport arrived at 1:40 pm. The two transported nearly 400 passengers. The Customs Department of Dong Dang International Railway Station in the northern border province of Lang Son has piloted the transportation of litchi to China by rail to cope with the huge backlog of goods along the border during the harvest season. The Customs Department of Dong Dang International Railway Station has piloted the transportation of litchi to China. According to the department, some 20 containers have been exported on each train during the pilot period. It costs about VND 30 million to transport a refrigerated container and around VND 20 million for a normal container from Vietnam's Bac Giang Province to China's Pingxiang City by train. The transportation time is approximately 12 hours. "The train transportation cost is just a bit cheaper than the road, but much faster," the department said.
