The draft aims to plug some loopholes that have been exploited by traders to disguise their commercial activities as cross-border individual transactions (CITs). It is also part of the government's efforts to promote the movement of goods via official channels, putting an end to trade bottlenecks at border gates. The draft stipulates that traders who engage in commercial activities at auxiliary border gates or border crossing points must do so at the gates or points approved by provincial authorities. On March 26, HoREA sent a document to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to propose some solutions for credit and project transfers to remove difficulties in the real estate market. According to HoREA, Decree No.08/2023/ND-CP has had a positive impact on the confidence of the market and its investors. This is the legal basis to pave the way for a negotiated agreement between the companies that have issued upcoming bonds and the bondholders. The decree, dated March 5, focuses on amending, supplementing, and ceasing the effect of a number of articles in previous decrees on the private placement of corporate bonds and the trading of privately placed corporate bonds on the domestic market, along with the offering of corporate bonds on the international market. According to Indonesian Communication and Informatics Ministry’s Public Information and Communication Director General Usman Kansong, information concerning the first ASEAN summit under the Indonesian chair this year will be delivered in detail to reporters through a media advisory unit . The ASEAN Summit will be held in Labuan Bajo , East Nusa Tenggara, on May 9-11, 2023. The ministry estimated that 300-500 reporters from 10 ASEAN member countries will cover the summit. The revision corresponds to Decree 08 of the Government, which went into effect on March 5 and aims to address bottlenecks in the corporate bond market.
