The play, Khach San Hao Hoa (Luxury Hotel), was broadcast live on Viet Nam Television (VTV1)'s theatre programme two weeks ago, attracting a large audience, including many youth who often spurn the traditional art. Directed by People's Artist Huynh Nga, the play featured young talents such as Thoai My, Kim Tu Long and Trong Phuc, offering a new style of performance. The 120-minute work Khach San Hao Hoa features Hieu, a city agent of the Liberation special forces, who works as a dancing girl for a bar in the Caravelle Hotel in 1970.
