The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has proposed to the National Assembly (NA) to allow Vietnamese people aged 18 to use casinos. "We can pilot the organisation of casino games at 5-star hotels, major tourist attractions, and at the same time allow Vietnamese who are 18 years or older with full civil and financial capacity to participate," the committee said. The committee also wanted the government to consider expanding visa-exemption policies to more countries, implementing e-visa procedures, and extending the temporary stay period for international visitors to Vietnam from 15 days to 30 days from the date of entry.
