Logo design contest launched to mark Vietnam – Japan diplomatic ties
The Japanese Embassy in Vietnam has launched a logo design contest to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations in 2023. The contest is open to all people, regardless of their nationality, age, or profession. Each applicant must only submit one entry which should be unpublished. Entries should be submitted via email to [email protected] by July 7 at the latest. All submitted works must help viewers to visualise the Vietnam – Japan special bond, the similarity and closeness between the peoples of both countries. The logo must also reflect the vigorous development of the relationship between the two countries, and the future of the ties over the next 50 years. Hanoi finalizes curvaceous design for new Red River bridge
The design won first place in a contest held by the Hanoi management board for traffic structure investment projects and the Vietnam Association of Architects in October 2021, Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, chairman of the Hanoi People's Council, said Tuesday. The main bridge will be 900 meters long. The entire length of the bridge and its accompanying roads that will run through Hoan Kiem, Hai Ba Trung and Long Bien districts will be 5.5 km. 16 Vietnamese designers to open Thailand Fashion Week 2022
A fashion collection by 16 young Vietnamese designers is set to open Thailand Fashion Week 2022 for the first time, with the outfits on show featuring images of Vietnamese cultural heritages. Vietnamese designers will open Thailand Fashion Week 2022. Local designs, which will be showcased at the event draw inspiration from traditional art forms, including Chau Van, a type of ritual singing, Don Ca Tai Tu, a form of southern folk song, Quan Ho, a type of love duet singing, and water puppetry.
