Ba Ria-Vung Tau (VNA) – Two Russians have tested positive for the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 again after they were given the all-clear and completed quarantine on January 7. The 31-year-old woman and her one-year-old daughter came to Vietnam to reunite with her husband who is working for the Vietnam-Russia oil and gas joint venture Vietsovpetro in Vung Tau city in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau. The duo were sent to quarantine at a hotel in Cam Lam district in central Khanh Hoa province right after their arrival, and tested positive for the virus on November 26. They recovered on December 25, according to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s centre for disease control. After being given the all-clear, they were quarantined at a hotel in Loc Tho ward, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, and completed quarantine on January 7. “Les Misérables” to hit Hanoi Opera House stage
Hanoi (VNA) – The musical “Les Misérables” will be performed by the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet (VNOB) at the Hanoi Opera House on January 18, 19, 20 and 21. The musical features artists from the VNOB, along with director Nguyen Trieu Duong and choreographer Linh An. Published in 1862, “Les Misérables” is among the most outstanding works by Victor Hugo, and one of the most popular novels from the 19th century. The musical has been performed in over 40 countries in 21 languages. It also holds the record for the longest running musical in London's West End. The musical was on stage in last November, with tickets sold out in four nights of performance.
