The document states that, on January 7, Minister of Industry and Trade signed Decision No.21/QD-BCT establishing the price bracket for the generation of electricity by solar and transitional wind power plants. On January 9, the MoIT issued Document No.107/BCT-DTDL, urging EVN and its investors in solar energy and transitional wind plants to urgently coordinate to negotiate and cooperate on electricity generation prices to ensure that they do not exceed the MoIT's electricity generation price bracket. Though China added Vietnam to its list of approved countries for group tours on March 15, flights carrying groups of Chinese tourists to Khanh Hoa Province in the south-central region will not resume until March 26, according to Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company. Accordingly, low-cost air carrier Vietjet Air will run about 34 round-trip flights between China and Khanh Hoa from March 26 to March 31. While China Southern Airlines has plans to reopen an air route connecting China with Cam Ranh International Airport in Khanh Hoa on March 26 with one daily flight, the frequency will float between 25 and 30 daily international flights from mid-April 2023 onward. The program, which includes stops in Hanoi and HCM City, is expected to reach more than 8,000 boys and girls in more than 200 schools there. It began on March 11 with an open clinic for boys and girls and a coaches’ clinic at Ho Xuan Huong Stadium in HCM City, and will run through June. There will be a series of school clinics followed by the first selection camp in Hanoi on March 31 and a second in HCM City on April 14 from which the top 32 boys and girls each will be selected for the Jr. NBA National Training Camp in the latter city from June 22 to 24. Bui Thi Thu Nga Banking and finance, Account manager BowerGroupAsia Vietnam Decree 08 postpones a number of new standards until January 2024, giving the market time to adjust and opening space for bondholders and bond issuers to negotiate. It amends Decree No.153/2020/ND-CP from December 2020, and Decree No.65/2022/ND-CP from September last year. After assessing the former and the case of Tan Hoang Minh, the government endorsed the latter to impose stricter management mechanisms on the trading of private bonds. Launched in 2018, the OCOP programme in Vietnam focuses on developing specialty products and high-quality products in rural areas to increase incomes for locals and boost the sustainability of economic development in rural areas. Thailand’s northern provinces ordered to halt burning activities to combat PM2.5 pollution
Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - The National Environment Board (NEB) of Thailand has endorsed stricter measures to combat air pollution caused by PM2.5 , ordering all 17 provinces in the North to halt burning activities until the end of April. Centre for Air Pollution Mitigation Spokesperson Siwaporn Rugsiyanon said that from January to March, the number of hotspots in the country increased to 56,439 points nationwide, with 31,719 in the North, of which 80% were in forest land and 15% in farming zones. To address the problem, the NEB has proposed a zero-burning policy in both forest and agricultural zones in the 17 northern provinces. If the situation worsens, the agency could consider ordering the closure of as many as 92 forest parks that operate under the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation to mitigate the situation. Vietnam has dominated the past three Games with 17 golds in 2017, 16 in 2019 and 22 at the last Games held a year later than scheduled in 2022 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
