The factory’s groundbreaking ceremony took place last week. Speaking at the ceremony, Kevin Nguyen, King Coffee's director in the US said the Vietnamese firm’s coffee products are already available in around 120 countries and territories worldwide. They have been present in the US since 2016, available at and through retail chains like Cosco, Aldi, Amazon, and Walmart. In April 2021, King Coffee opened its first US coffee shop at Anaheim Garden Walk near Disneyland in California. King Coffee is about to start franchise deals in the US. 4-meter long king cobra draws tourists in Vietnam’s Phu Quoc
Apart from kraits, redtail pit vipers and copperheads, a four-meter-long king cobra weighing nearly 17 kilograms at Dong Tam 2 Snake Farm in Phu Quoc City in Vietnam’s Kien Giang Province is luring crowds of tourists. Visiting the snake farm in Suoi Da Hamlet in Duong Ta Commune, Phu Quoc City, Nguyen Thi Thu Duong, a tourist coming from Hanoi, said that she was surprised at the king cobra’s length and large size. “The king cobra is so big. It is necessary to take care of the snake carefully to attract many visitors, especially those who desire to learn about the rare snake,” said Dung. Nguyen Tan Loc, an employee at the snake farm, said that the farm is conserving and nourishing seven types of snakes, including four venomous species such as krait, redtail pit viper, copperhead and king cobra. Ma, one of China's best-known entrepreneurs, left mainland China in late 2021 and has been seen in photographs in Japan, Australia and Thailand in the months since. Once one of the country's most outspoken businessmen, he retreated from the public limelight in late 2020 after criticizing China's regulatory system that was later blamed for triggering a wide-ranging regulatory crackdown by Beijing. While Chinese authorities said in recent months they had ended the crackdown and would look for ways to support the private sector, Chinese entrepreneurs said they saw Ma's decision to stay overseas as a factor hindering confidence.
