Thien Ha cave becomes an attractive destination in Ninh Binh province

Located to the south of Tuong mountain, the 250 million year-old complex consists of a 200m dry cave and a water cave. Thien Ha has been well-known as a “living” cave. According to experts, geological layers in the cave are still active and developing silently. Archaeologists have found many traces of mollusks, hewing tools, raw ceramic fragments, animal bones, turtle shells and bibs, and many other elements that confirm the existence of ancient Vietnamese residents. The Thien Ha cave complex was found in 1997 by Ha Huy Loi, who was very interested in exploring the caves. Binh Phuoc arrests five illegal Chinese immigrants

(Photo: VNA) Binh Phuoc (VNA) - The border guard force in the southern province of Binh Phuoc on February 24 arrested five Chinese nationals who illegally entered Vietnam and had intention to escape to another country. The Chinese nationals, aged between 19 and 31, came from Hunan and Hubei provinces. They were captured at 10:30 pm at border marker No.70 in Thanh Bien hamlet, Loc Thanh commune, Loc Ninh district. They said they entered Vietnam on February 22, then were transported to Hanoi on a four-seat car. The following day, they boarded a coach to travel to Ho Chi Minh City. They were picked up to a passenger car driven by a Vietnamese to the border area of Binh Phuoc province. While trying to cross the border to find jobs, they were arrested in Thanh Bien hamlet. On February 25, the border guard at Hoa Lu International Border Gate completed all procedures to hand over the Chinese nationals to local authorities for quarantine in accordance with regulations./. Binh Duong meets foreign investment target ahead of schedule

Such figures confirm Binh Duong’s status as an attractive destination for foreign investors, second only to neighbouring Ho Chi Minh City. According to the provincial investment department, Binh Duong is currently home to 3,780 active foreign-invested projects with total pledges at US$34.33 billion, accounting for 9.48% of total foreign investment in Vietnam. The province has seen investors from 65 countries and territories with Japan being the largest investor, with US$5.61 billion in over 300 projects. Foreign-invested projects in Binh Duong are mainly in the manufacturing sector. According to Binh Duong Chairman Tran Thanh Liem, what makes the province appealing to foreign investors is a conducive investment climate brought about by aggressive policy reforms.
